After watching this inspiring Ted Talk about goal setting and why “The Why” is so crucial in our success, I decided to give it a go.
Let’s look at my personal WHY, WHAT, and HOW, and how it’s related to my most current project: Implementing Mindset Assessment. I often receive the feedback that once you hear me talk about this topic, you feel my passion for it.
And now I know why – because it actually serves a very important purpose in close alignment with my personal values.
I am convinced we can create a kinder and better workplace with leaders that value and respect the individual, empower people to achieve more, and to encourage and support growth. (personal and professional).
Implement Psychometric Assessments, that shifts the focus of selection decisions on the personality and mindset, instead of certificates and skills.
Convince individual Managers to try a new way (psychometric assessment) of approaching Selection and guide them through. (At least 50 assessments in the first year)
Grab every opportunity that arises when people show interest in the topic or mention the difficulty of finding just the right people and creating valuable teams. (inform at least 50 different individuals about assessments within one year)
Spread the word, tell success stories. (At least 6 social media posts in one year)
Show with data that focusing on mindset can make a difference. (Create use case with first examples)
Have every new hire or placement into a leadership position go through psychometric assessment, end influence decision-making to select those human beings for the job that will drive the culture of growth and empowerment.
I know I might dream big, but I truly believe every one of us can make a difference, and if we find meaning in what we do, we will NOT fail.
